The 2-year-old classroom is a very exciting place to be. The children are beginning to learn to play with their friends rather than just play next to them. Their vocabulary is increasing; however not always fast enough to express everything they have to say. They are becoming more aware of themselves. It is often the age where toilet training happens. Simple problem solving skills are fostered here with puzzles, beads, play dough, blocks and art. The day is built around developmentally appropriate activities that nurture and encourage their development.

• Miss Tricia has worked at MCLC since 2006.  She holds a Bachelor's degree from Edinboro in Psychology.
• Miss Amanda joined MCLC in September 2010.  She holds a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education from Clarion University.  She has a son attending here at the Center.
